From 1998-2019 Rachel worked for Northeast Youth and Family Services as a therapist and manager. Rachel specializes in relationships, anxiety/depression, transitions and caregiver issues. She works with adults of all ages, individuals, couples and families.

Rachel’s Therapy Approach:  “I offer strength-based, systems, and solution-focused perspectives. I listen carefully to clients’ concerns. I do a thorough assessment which includes looking at strengths and resources as well as cultural and spiritual values. I understand that clients may have mixed feelings about change; I see therapy as a collaborative process, moving at the client’s own pace. When appropriate, I use humor during our conversations! I am a photographer as well as a therapist and so the concepts of re-framing, looking through a different lens and shifting focus are themes in my work. Besides helping clients to create new visions, I offer practical suggestions for change.”
