Quinn Maroney-Hernandez, MSW, LICSW

Quinn is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who joins MidWest Center with 7 years of experience in the mental health field. She graduated from University of Minnesota- Twin Cities with a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work and graduated from Concordia College with a degree in Psychology and Women’s Studies. Prior to working with MidWest Center, Quinn’s background includes Kente Circle as an outpatient and School-Based therapist, a Researcher at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, and with North Dakota Autism Center as a Behavior Therapist. Quinn’s special interests include; Early Childhood/Children, Parent/Child Attachment and Couples/Premarital counseling. Quinn works with Children 0-18 and specializes in ages 0-5. Additionally, Quinn is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which is an eye movement therapy that promotes rapid emotional healing in addition to somatic (physical) symptoms of stress and trauma. 

Quinn’s Therapy Approach: I utilize a strengths-based and trauma-informed framework that examines the individual in relationship with their families, communities, and wider society. Specializing in children and childhood trauma, I have a gentle and kind approach that sees you as the expert in your own life while also being curious about patterns and experiences in order to further process your own emotions.”
