Catherine Mollner, MA, LP, SEP & Clinical Director

Location: St Paul

Catherine earned her Master’s at St Mary’s College Graduate Center.  She has 25+ years of experience in mental health.  She is the Clinical Director at MidWest Center and facilitator for our Post Induction Therapy program including offering The Healing Journey.  Her clinical practice is at Mollner Mental Health.  Catherine is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, having earned a certificate from the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute.  She is trained in Dynamic Attachment Re-patterning experience and is a DARe Practitioner.  She holds a level one certificate in Relational Empowerment Therapy from the Relational Life Institute in Boston and has received extensive training in Post Induction Therapy (the Meadows Model of personal healing).  She incorporates her training in these therapy models to guide others through corrective experiences to alleviate suffering, and gain more personal and relational satisfaction.  She works with adolescents and adults individually as well as working with couples.

Catherine’s Therapy Approach: “Because people are multi-faceted, my approach to therapy integrates strategies to address the body, thoughts, emotions, and behavior, which I believe promotes sustainable change.   Often, we can ‘know better’ but struggle to ‘do better’ in a sustained way when approaching the difficulty only at the level of thinking and doing.  I enjoy helping people heal from past hurts, gain freedom, cultivate joy, and work their way through difficult circumstances.”
