Installing Resiliency: Gaining Strength through Self-Knowledge Building Skills through Practice

This is a four-session class on Fridays and Saturdays. Through participation in this group, you will:

  • Grow in resiliency and achieve greater psychological balance.
  • You will become aware of and deepen your sense of personal value
  • Understand that you are precious in the face of your humanity
  • Strengthen your sense of power through building self-control allowing you to live in action rather than reaction to others
  • Develop a sense of abundance and appreciation of what the world has to offer through learning active self-care and healthy interdependence
  • Acquire tools for healthy relationship with self and others
This group is facilitated by Catherine Mollner, MA, LP and requires a four session commitment.

Installing Resiliency Weekly Maintenance Group

Now that you’ve deepened your sense of personal value, power and abundance, maintain that connection, increase your skills and broaden your inner awareness through weekly resiliency maintenance sessions.

These follow-up groups are recommended for alumni of the Installing Resiliency Workshop, as a way to connect with other group members, share ideas and strengthen your resiliency skills.
 
Cost is $75 per session which may be billable to your insurance. Please contact Kristy if you do not have insurance or are unable to pay the $75 fee.
 
Facilitated by Kristy Costello, M.S. This is an on-going, weekly group on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the St. Paul office location, Suite 435-S.
 
 
 

Anger Management Education and Therapy Group

This group provides an opportunity to learn how to identify hidden feelings, assess your anger style, change negative patterns and choose positive ways of expressing anger in an interactive setting.

The group is facilitated by Mary Jo Faustgen, MA, LMFT and is four sessions long.

Positively Focused Parenting Group

This Parenting Class is for parents of all ages interested in learning how to work together as a family. Learn skills in parenting styles, discipline techniques using appropriate consequences and rewards, how to encourage and give positive self-esteem, enlist cooperation and respect within the home, and many other resources and tips that WORK for You!

The group is facilitated by Mary Jo Faustgen, MA, LMFT and is three sessions long.

Drawing on Mindfulness Principles learning how to:

General Men's Therapy Group

This is an ongoing weekly therapy group for men who wish to address problems with mood, relationships, stressful life situations and the impact of family of origin in current life experiences.

The group is facilitated by Bryan Kingsriter, LMFT, LICSW, and requires an individual assessment and a minimum ten week commitment. In some cases this group may be covered by insurance, otherwise the fee is $60.00 per session.

 

 

Breaking the Patterns of Depression

This is a six-session class for people with depression and/or anxiety. It can help you:

  • Feel more control over anxiety and depression
  • Learn how to "think straight" by identifying and correcting errors in thinking
  • Learn how to manage situations skillfully by diminishing unsuccessful behaviors and increasing effective behaviors
  • Develop skills to better manage relationships with others
  • Decrease your perception of being at constant risk for harm

Adolescent Group Psychotherapy

This group is an ongoing adolescent psychotherapy group that focuses on promoting mental health by addressing mood issues, self-esteem, assertiveness, healthy boundaries, conflict resolution, relationship struggles, and positive coping skills. The group is for adolescent females from 15-18 years old (still in high school).

This group is facilitated by Amanda Hengtgen, LMFT

This group meets every Monday at the White Bear Lake office from 7:00-7:50 p.m.

A second group meets every Thursday at the White Bear Lake office from 7:00-7:50 p.m.
